オックスフォードバスでオックスフォードに達したとき、私の目は涙を流しそうでした。すべてのお店や通りの名前は良く知っています。誰が何と言おう、オックスフォードは私が学位を取って、最初の学術的な仕事を得て、結婚して、そして最初の息子を得た場所なので、私の第二の故郷です。私はオックスフォードに上陸した後、英国の黒い部分を見て現実に戻されましたが、それはまだ十分にこれはオックスフォードの一部である事の想定内でした。
今、ストックホルム環境研究所オックスフォード支部とオックスフォード大学と気候変動とグリーン経済の2つの欧州委員会の研究プロジェクトを始めます。ですので、オックスフォードに半年に一度戻って来る可能性が高いです。オックスフォード・環境変化インスティテュート（ECI）の同窓会としてECIと働く事は少しおかしな気がします。
My eyes almost have tears when I was reaching to Oxford by an Oxford bus. All shops and street names were so familiar. It was the place I had degrees, first academic job, marriage, and my first son. No matter what you say, Oxford is my 2nd home. I had a few reality bites when I encountered British blackness after I landed at Oxford, but it was still well expected as TIO (this is Oxford).
Now, I have two European Commission research projects on climate change and green economy with SEI - Stockholm Environment Institute Oxford and University of Oxford, so I am likely to come back to Oxford. It feel a bit funny to work with ECI as an Oxford ECI Alumni after many years.
